Tackling dementia, depression and loneliness through the power of sport

The passing of Her Majesty The Queen

It is with deep sadness that Sporting Memories hears of the passing of Her Majesty The Queen.

All of our lives have been shaped by Her Majesty’s remarkable reign, having been the longest living monarch in the history of the United Kingdom.

Her Majesty had a huge passion for sport, including her love of horse racing. As an owner and breeder of thoroughbreds, Her Majesty often visited race meetings to watch her horses run and frequently attended equestrian events.

Her passion for horse racing and other sports is shared by the great British public and throughout our members and clubs across England, Scotland, Wales and the Commonwealth.

The thoughts of the entire Sporting Memories family are with the Royal Family at this extremely difficult time.

You can sign the Royal Family website book of condolence here.
