What we do

We are Sporting Memories. For 10 years we have been using the power of remembering and talking about sport – along with physical exercise – to tackle dementia, depression and loneliness. We are dedicated to bringing together older fans, former players, family members.

Steve Elliott celebrated his 60th birthday in September. A former professional footballer, Steve started his career at Nottingham Forest after signing apprentice forms with Brian Clough and later signed professional forms at the age of 18.
