We have a wealth of experience in developing local, regional and national collaborative sporting memories projects with a host of partners.

Our work and case studies cover:

  • Reducing loneliness and isolation.
  • Getting older people physically active.
  • Helping people to live well with dementia.
  • Creating and curating inter generational projects.
  • The development and use of digital technologies to support our work.

We have academic partners that work with us to help evaluate our work. They include Leeds Beckett University, Leeds Trinity University, Stirling University, De Montfort University, Leicester and the London School of Economics.

We have developed high quality, scaleable and sustainable models of implementation with the support of UnLtd’s Solutions for an Ageing Society Growth Awards.

Our innovative work is acknowledged by various agencies and institutions. In 2014 we were recognised by NESTA to become one of their 50 “New Radicals”. The Alzheimer’s Society awarded us with their “Best National Dementia Friendly Initiative” award in the same year. “Best Football Community Scheme” bestowed by the Football Business Awards. In 2018 the charity received the Prime Minister’s Points of Light Award to recognise the difference our charity makes to the community.

With experience and our work to date we have developed a knowledge and awareness on how to prepare funding applications based on coherent budgeting and reliable cost evaluation.  If you are a prospective partner organisation needing our assistance and expertise to put together a joint bid to apply for funding or if you have secured funds we can help provide support and expertise to seek project funding or help establish a coherent working budget to match either aspiration.
