The Sporting Memories Foundation is a charity like no other. We support older people across the UK living with dementia, depression and loneliness by engaging them in social activities and helping them to recall memories of watching or playing sport. By sharing memories of sporting moments and tapping into a passion for sport we help people to connect with others and with their past, reawakening positive thoughts and feelings that otherwise remain hidden away.

With your help Sporting Memories now runs over 110 weekly clubs across the UK helping people reconnect with their communities and their memories. Together, we make a difference. Your donations keep them going, and now we want to open 200 more.

#SupportOurClubs is our first ever fundraising campaign, inspired by the anniversary of Alan Shearer's groundbreaking documentary, Football, Dementia and Me.

In the programme, the England legend stated "It remains my belief that before we have the findings of the research, football must begin to look after former players living with dementia and put an end to this sense that once you're done with playing, you can be put on the scrapheap."

With your support, we can help more former players and older fans.
