Introducing our magazine programme: Sporting Memories Weekly With all our Clubs suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak, our #TalkAboutSport campaign continues with growing momentum. So we decided it was time to get in front of the camera. Our magazine programme Sporting Memories Weekly comes to you each week via our Vimeo channel, with our '100 Objects' series, engaging sports conversations, gentle exercises and more. It features staff, volunteers... and special guests. Each week we discuss an issue of our Sporting Pink nostalgia paper - sparking lively conversation and showing how this resource can be used. Our first episode takes us back to 1973. Why not sign up now to receive a digital version of the Sporting Pink? We are delighted that in Week 1 we are joined by BBC broadcaster and commentator extraordinaire Eleanor Oldroyd, who from her home reminisces about her love affair with cricket, using a very special sporting object as inspiration to tell her story (just like we do in our Clubs). Eleanor's piece is part of our 'Sporting Memories in 100 Objects' series, with members of the public, sports professionals, former players, Sporting Memories staff and our volunteers filming themselves from home. As ever these have a purpose: to entertain, inform and provide inspiration to #TalkAboutSport. How do I watch? Episode 1 of Sporting Memories Weekly is available now on our Vimeo Channel. We encourage you to watch, enjoy, join in, share the link if you can, and use it as inspiration to #TalkAboutSport!
