On Tuesday 19th February, BBC Lancashire Sport broadcast the first episode of a two part programme exploring football, sport and dementia. BBC broadcast journalist Andy Bayes visited the weekly Sporting Memories club at Leyland, run in partnership with the Lancashire Football Association. The club has been established through funding provided to Sporting Memories by the National Lottery and Sport England, as part of their innovative Active Ageing Programme.

Interviews include volunteers, including group leader Keith McIntosh, along with club members and Sporting Memories Co-founder, Tony Jameson-Allen
