Sonia Irvine

Sonia irvine

We are delighted to list Sonia Irvine as the latest supporter of the Sporting Memories Network.

Sonia, who worked as team physiotherapist for Ferrari F1 and founded www.amber-lounge.com has an interest in the reminiscence activites being provided for older people, having worked as a physiotherapy super-intendent on a NHS hospital ward in London for older people who had suffered strokes, many of whom had dementia.

Sonia has submitted a fantastic memory to the Replay Motorsport site about her time working with her brother, Eddie and recounts the emotions of seeing him in his first race for the famous Italian team, racing alongside team mate Michael Schumacher and against the likes of Damon Hill, Gerhard Berger and SMN supporter, David Coulthard

When you have read Sonia's memory, please take 5 minutes to submit your own Formula 1 story
