On hearing about the impact sports reminiscence is having on older sports fans, John was keen to show his support of the Sporting Memories Network. To coincide with Wimbledon fortnight, John is supporting the launch of Replay Tennis.
"Tennis fans from across the globe will be watching Wimbledon and thinking back to the glorious matches the championships have served up over the years. With the damp summer we are having it is almost inevitable there will be breaks in play during this fortnight. I hope fans will take the opportunity to submit their memories of watching the game and help create more stories for Replay Tennis groups to use in their reminiscence sessions"
