We are delighted to reveal the latest supporter of Replay Motorsport - Chelsea Autolegends organiser and racing driver Max Wakefield
His family has a real motorsport pedigree, Johnny Wakefield, as a privateer drove his Maserati 4CL to victory, beating the works teams in the 1939 Naples Grand Prix. The Wakefield family also started Castrol Oil and supported both Donald and Malcolm Campbell in their land and water speed records.
Max has raced motorcycles and cars and is a championship winner in both disciplines and drove an F1 Benetton for the Mansell Motorsport Team. He has raced with David Piper and Richard Attwood, and won five consecutive championships in Iinternational Sports Prototypes, driving his very own Ferrari 330P4. We will have some exciting news about Chelsea Autolegends, which takes place on Sunday 2 September at The Royal Hospital Gardens, Chelsea, London and this year is supporting the Walking with the Wounded charity along with the Chelsea Pensioners.
