Louise Goodman, the award-winning TV presenter and journalist with over 20 years of media and motor racing experience has signed up to support Replay Motorsport.
Dubbed 'the first woman of Formula One' Louise made her name as part ITV's Grand Prix presentation team, covering the world championship for 12 years. Seen in the pit lane and paddock, her childhood interest in Formula One was first sparked by the exploits of the great James Hunt.
Louise has written a fantastic memory for the project, looking back on the final F1 race covered by ITV and what a race that was. Interlagos, Brazil, 2008. The championship decider for Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa.
Discussing the concept of sports reminiscence and Replay Motorsport, Louise described her first hand experience of dementia and immediately recognised the benefits interesting and stimulating acitvities will have on people.
We are delighted to have Louise as a supporter and hope having read the memory she has shared on the Replay Motorsport site, you will feel inspired to share one of your own
Louise currently co-presents live coverage of the British Touring Car Championship and joins BTCC driver and reporter Paul O'Neill and Ginetta boss Lawrence Tomlinson in supporting the project.
