Without marshals, there wouldn't be motor sport. From the pits and
paddock to trackside, marshals allow race meetings run smoothly. A marshals job is essential providing administrative functions and
life-saving safety cover, yet all those men and women you see trackside, providing a level of safety in the UK and at International race meetings across the globe are volunteers.
The British Motorsport Marshals Club is the main channel through which marshals get information about the hundreds of motorsport meetings held throughout Britain each year. Details of eventsare circulated to BMMC members through the Club's regional magazines and by organising clubs who send volunteering forms detailing all their meetings directly to BMMC members before each new motor racing season begins.
We are delighted to have the BMMC as supporters of Replay Motorsport. To mark this support, we have created a Marshals Memories tag for the site, where BMMC members can submit their own stories and memories of motorsport and contribute to this project, helping older motorsport fans who will benefit from reminiscing and reading the inevitable tales that will be told!
