Jennie Gow

Jennie GowWe are thrilled to reveal BBC Five Live F1 Pit Lane reporter Jennie Gow as a supporter of the network. As a supporter of Replay Motorsport, Jennie shared this fabulous memory of the soggy week at Silverstone

Jennie covers the F1 Grand Prix season with colleagues James Allen and Jaime Alguersuari, the F1 racer who only stepped out of the car at the end of last year.

Her first broadcasting job was with BBC Radio Solent as a sports journalist has since presented all sorts of speed related programmes from rallying to Formula Ford, motocross to blind land speed records. In 2010 Jennie was asked to present the MotoGP World Championship on BBC TV before swapping two wheels for four, presenting British Formula 3, Formula Ford and the GT Championship amongst other things and was able to follow the GP2 feeder series, watching the likes of Romain Grosjean and Charles Pic

June 2011 Jennie headed out to Montreal for the BBC to be pit lane reporter for the Canadian Grand Prix. That's the one where it rained for hours, where Jenson Button took the win, Sebastian Vettel making a very rare mistake.
